Tract Number 27

We are living in a day when there is no respect.  Wives and husbands have no respect for each other and children have no respect for their parents.  What has happened to the day when children respected their parents and others?

   When we as Christians look to see why our children have no respect, the blame must fall upon us.  When our children see that we have no respect for God’s house of His Word, then they tend to follow our example and have no respect for us.

   We live in a day when even our churches are used for a social gathering instead of a place of worship.  Many have turned their sanctuaries into a place for children to play.  Some have put pool tables and many other things in the house of God.  Many in the Bible did the same thing.  God did not honor them, neither will He honor us for the same sin.

Matthew 21:12,13  And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,  And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

 GOD’S HOUSE IS NOT A PLAYHOUSE….

   God’s house is to be respected by His children as you would have your children to respect you.

Exodus 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

   We are to honor our heavenly Father as well as out earthly father and honor the house of our Father as well.  It is time that we go back to the Bible and honor and respect God’s Word, God’s House, and God’s Man.

John 14:2,3  In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

 John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

 John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

 John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN….

   If you do not have respect for God’s Word, God’s House, or God’s Man, it may be that the Devil has deceived you.  There is more to it than shooting pool in a church building, joining a church ball team, or just sitting on a church pew.  You must have a personal relationship with God.  Search your heart to be sure of your SALVATION.

    If you are backslid on God, ask the Lord to forgive you and if you are lost, ask Jesus to save you.

 Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

    The only way man can have the right views of the church and respect for the Lord is to have a personal experience with Jesus Christ.  This can only come through repentance of your sin and the washing of your sin through the precious BLOOD of Christ. Please REPENT today.
