Tract Number 38
JESUS CHRIST IS
THE ONLY DOOR TO HEAVEN.
A door has a two-fold purpose.
To keep us out or to let us in.
We obtain an entrance into or we are kept from going in by a
door. Jesus Christ is the
only entrance to Heaven. If
we by-pass Jesus we will by-pass Heaven.
Men and women everywhere want to go to Heaven.
Many are trying to get there their own way.
Multitudes think that you can live a good life and that is
enough. Others think that
joining a Church or a religious organization, paying tithes, being
baptized or sprinkled, or a host of other things will obtain them an
entrance into Heaven.
But Jesus Himself said: John
3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
JESUS
CHRIST IS THE ONLY DOOR TO ETERNAL LIFE.
To be without Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour is to be
without ETERNAL LIFE.
This means that you will have ETERNAL DEATH in the
lake of fire forever.
No religion, no man, no program, no organization, or anything
else will secure you Eternal life.
Many try to ignore the Son of God and in doing so doom their soul
to the pits of hell eternally.
While you are living you have the opportunity to repent and be
saved. To ignore this most
important matter will bring torment to your soul. Revelation
20:14-15: And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is
the second death. And
whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the
lake of fire. JESUS
CHRIST IS THE ONLY DOOR TO THE FORGIVENESS OF SIN.
In order to be forgiven of
our sin, we must confess and repent.
The Lord will forgive us the moment we repent.
We must repent from our heart and not from our head.
Head religion will not do.
We must realize we are a sinner and then ask Jesus to forgive us
and come into our heart to live.
He said He would. 1
John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us
our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Luke 13:3 I
tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
