WEIGHED IN THE BALANCES AND FOUND WANTING

Tract Number 62

Every man an woman will face God in the judgment.  Human beings have a tendency to sweep their sins under the rug.  They even try to ignore their own faults but one day every idle word and deed will be brought out into the open before a Holy and a Righteous God.

We may think that we will get by or God will wink at our sins but one day and very soon all of our deeds will have to be faced in the Judgment.

Galatians 6:7-8, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."

Look at King David.  He committed adultery with Bath Sheba.  He then had her husband killed.  Because of this God took the first child that was born to them.  King David thought that he maybe was going to get by with this.  One day God sent a prophet by and revealed what he had done.  The Prophet told him that the sword would never leave his house.  All these things came to pass.

The wicked King Ahab worked against the prophets of God.  Years passed on.  Ahab had seemed to have gotten by but one day God stopped him.  While he was in the battle an arrow pierced him and he died.  The dogs licked up his blood from under his chariot.  You can’t get by with sin.

God’s trains may run slow, but remember they always run on time.  God knows your every thought.  He knows your heart.  There will never be a time when you will be able to outsmart God.

Remember the law of sowing and reaping the harvest.

1. You will always reap what you sow.  If you sow corn, you will reap corn.

2. You will always reap later than you sow.  Harvest is always after you sow.

3. You will always reap more than you sow.  You may sow one grain of corn but you will reap one ear or more in the harvest.

God is keeping a record of everything that you and I do.  Every bad deed and every bad thought is recorded in Heaven.  We will all face the Judgment.

We will not be judged according to what we think, or what someone else thinks, but according to THE WORD OF GOD…..

THE BIBLE SAYS:

Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Romans 10:9-10, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
